The Return of the Romero
It seems we here at The Citizens Bankers are a bit ahead of the curve. Hours after saying JC Romero would be a Phillie in 2011, he has signed. Depending on how you feel about Juan Carlos Romero you may be excited or dissapointed. We here at The Citizens Bankers are split, once again, as The Banker believes this is an improvement and The Teller is shocked he has been disproved [regarding whether Romero would re-sign]. More to come from your favorite Bankers.
Note from The Teller: Although I thought that the Phillies were done with Romero after his awful K/BB ratio, he kind of was the only option for them after Dennys Reyes ate too many donuts for their liking. Time will tell if this is an improvement or not. I hope he only comes in as a lefty specialist, with Bastardo being the #1 lefty out of the pen.
